ILIAS ZIAN

Ilias Zian was nominated for Amsterdammer of the year and photographed for Parool magazine. He organized the first Moroccan boat at Gay Pride Amsterdam. This was groundbreaking and all over the news. This is a photo from one of his press moments, where he specifically wanted to wear the butterfly bowtie. Not because he just liked it, but for its symbolic meaning of freedom.
