JEANNE MOREAU

When artist/director Christiaan Bastiaans asked me to design a costume film noir legend Jeanne Moreau. I designed a dress with a majestic bow. The back of the dress existed of pants that morphed into a train. Because Jeanne Moreau played the role in sign language, I decided to embroider the words into the dress. To work with her on set for a week was a privilege and a lifetime experience. The short art film was part of an exhibition in the Kroller Muller Museum, where it also premiered.
